2019 BMW 1 Series Price and Release Date – We didn’t get a chance to enjoy the series 1 of the second generation in the United States, but with the introduction of the third-gen models, BMW has decided that we deserve more. So far, very little is known about the new series 1, but one big factor could be somewhat detrimental to his success: he switched from RWD to FWD architecture architecture. This is a definite step shuffle some of the feathers in the Bimmer community.
This transition was made possible by the UKL platform debuted in the Mini Cooper is now 2014 and underlying Sedan new series 1, 2 Series of Active Tourer racing, and x 1. 2019 BMW 1 Series Exterior

But, as a model of 2019, we still have much longer to wait, so BMW could have had a completely different plans as well.
2019 BMW 1 Series Engine
This is where things get interesting. With the series 1st Gen platform BMW UKL, undoubtedly will be offered standard with front-wheel drive. The whole range of three-and four-cylinder engines are on the table depending on the trim level with 100 horsepower of up to 360 horsepower in M1 or who we suspect are in this photo, a M140i. Thus, branded variant of M can be offered with all-wheel drive hybrid system that puts an electric motor on the rear axle. The hybrid version of the plug-in is there on the table such as the possibility of an all-electric model at some point down the road. More plug-in models might consider a BMW already has several models of plug-ins based on the platform of UKL, however, all-electric models are definitely not out of the question.
Transmission options are still burning in the air, but a six-speed manual has to be available. For those who prefer a more automated experience, dual-clutch transmission seven-speed paddle shifter with could also be on the table. Branded M model as you see in the image here will get the M-Sport suspension which lowers the ride height of nearly an inch, while the active exhaust system will keep things sounding comfortable during daily trips or annoying. Of course, it is still far too early for this kind of talks, so we should discuss the price again a little further down the road.
